Tobi was my Christmas present from my husband in 2000. We had not had a house pet for about 10 years, so it was quite the surprise to me when he told me he was looking at a dog for us. We got Tobi while we were home in the Milford, OH area a couple days after Christmas. We lived in Florida at that time and when we headed home this little bundle of fur curled up in my husband's winter coat and slept most of the way. He loved us the minute he saw us and it was the same for us.
Tobi is now 12 years old, loves to take walks, and he leads all the way! I believe if I said I was going to walk from here in Crossville, TN to Milford, OH, he would say, "Ok, let's go!"
He has been pure joy for us and he has brought out a side of my husband that none of us ever knew existed. In fact, I don't even think Gene knew it himself. He now loves dogs and will point out cute ones to me.
