The Great Retriever

All of my shelties have been great ball fetchers and retrievers,without being trained to do so!! I have always been surprised by this. Do any of your's do the same?

Mine love to chase the ball or Frisbee as a group, the first one gets it and then attempts to bring it back to me thru the crowd of other shelties attempting to grab it from the winner. Looks like a football player running around interference. Sometimes they make it back to me, sometimes it's more fun to play tug of war with each other.

Either way, it's good exercise and fun to watch.

Yankee Shelties owned by others also enjoy a game of Frisbee with their owners.
